RENEW IBEW 124 DELIVERS WINTER CARE PACKAGES TO HOMELESS

On a cold Saturday, the IBEW 124 RENEW ORGANIZATION gathered at the   retiree’s hall to collect donations for the homeless. Volunteers prepared 100 care bags and gathered car loads of winter gear. The items were delivered by Ana Wilcoxson, Brandon Schaaf, and Dean Linton to the homeless shelter at Bartle Hall. Local 124 members, family, and friends donated their time, money, coats, blankets, boots, food and personal care items. Ana Wilcoxson was credited for the idea and special appreciation noted for Joe Fuentes, Todd Howerton, and Jesse Murphy. Thanks to all that donated their time, money, and other items to help those less fortunate and struggling. RENEW 124 hopes to make this an annual event. RENEW 124 is a group for new and young union members to learn and grow within their union through mentoring and encourage younger members to take an active roll in their union and community.
